KALIA Yojana is started by the government of Odisha. And this scheme is only for the citizen of Odisha. The full form of KALIA is Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation.
All the interested farmer can apply for this scheme. This scheme is launched by the Chief Minister of Odisha Mr. Naveen Patnaik. This government scheme gives the financial assistance to the farmers of the Odisha citizens. The government of Odisha will provide you the benefits, such as farming, livelihood support, financial assistance, life insurance cover with the interest free crop loan to the selected beneficiaries.

Eligibility and Documents Necessary for KALIA Scheme Application
Residential Criterion: This yojana is launched by the Naveen Patnaik. His aim is that to help the financial condition for the poor or needy peoples of the village. As the government of Odisha will finance all the requirements for the implementation of this project. Only that candidates can apply for this scheme who has the citizen domicile certificate of Odisha.
Poor Farmers: Only those farmers can apply for this scheme who is belongs to the marginal and small categories, that are mandatory to take the benefits from this scheme. Those farmers who have not their own land for cultivation they will also get the financial support from the state government.
BPL Applicants: Applied farmers have their BPL certificate, it is the proof of they are belonging to the small and marginal families.
ST and SC Applicants: Those farmers who are belonging to the SC or ST category they can also aply for this scheme, and they have to show their category certificate.
Registered Agriculture Labors: Part time or seasonal agriculture labors will not attain this scheme. Only the farmers with the registration card, issued by the Panchayat or Agriculture Department will be able to apply this KALIA yojana.
ID Proof’s: Xerox of Aadhaar Card, ration card and voter card, must be attached with the application form for the authentication of the candidates.
Age Proof: To filling this scheme application form the limited age must be 18 years. And the upper age limit is 50 year to attain life coverage and accidental policy benefits. Submitting an age proof is also mandatory.
Farmland Papers: If the interested farmer has a plot that is more than the 5 acre in measurement, then he will be barred from getting the scheme perks. The draft highlights that 5 acre is the upper limit, starting from 2.5 acre.
Bank Account Details: The benefits amount of the farmer will be transfer in the farmer bank account. Applicants must attach a photocopy of the bank passbook.
